We are a small hobby stud based in South West Wales nestled between the hills in the Cothi Valley. Cwmcerrig Stud was established in 2003 by my husband Peter Rodway & I - Katy Rodway with the purchase of Abercippyn Molly & Brynithon Northern Wind. We have since grown into a family of 4 with our two daughters my eldest Lowri who's 7 and youngest Liwsi who's coming 4; both of which show a great passion for farm life & the ponies.
Brynithon Northern Wind put us on the map with regards to the cob world winning many championships in-hand then later on ridden and also proving himself as an incredible stock-getter also.
We pride ourselves in breeding Welsh Cobs with a great temperaments, correct & true to type with the ability to perform in many disciplines.
As well as the cobs we also farm over 200 acres - mainly sheep and offer our meat locally.
